1. Overview
This Cookie Policy explains how Aquaduct Data Strategies LLC uses cookies and similar technologies across our products and websites.
2. Runner’s Review (iOS Application and Website)
Runner’s Review is a native iOS application and does not use browser cookies. It does not set cookies on your device. Data practices for Runner’s Review are described in the Runner’s Review Annex together with the master Privacy Policy.
The runnersreview.net website sets no cookies of its own. It saves small settings in your browser only when you act: your light or dark theme choice (rr-theme, browser local storage, kept until you clear your browser data), whether you dismissed the app banner (rr-banner, browser session storage, cleared when you close the tab), and your analytics choice (rr-consent, browser local storage, kept until you clear your browser data or change it under “Cookie settings”).
Analytics, only if you accept. The website asks before using Google Analytics. Only if you accept does Google Analytics load and set its cookies, _ga and _ga_<id>, which hold an identifier used to count visits; that data is kept for 2 months. Declining, or changing your choice later under “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page, stops all collection and deletes these cookies. The website uses no advertising cookies or tracking pixels. Details are in Section 2.7 of the Runner’s Review Annex.
3. Our Websites
Our other public websites — including these legal pages and aquaductdata.com — use only strictly necessary cookies required for the site to load, function, and maintain basic security. These cannot be turned off without affecting site functionality. (runnersreview.net is covered in Section 2: it uses Google Analytics only if you accept.)
We do not use:
- Advertising or targeting cookies
- Cross-site or behavioral tracking cookies
- Third-party analytics cookies (e.g., Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Mixpanel, Amplitude, Segment) on these sites
- Social-media tracking pixels
4. Aquaduct Cascade
Aquaduct Cascade is an internal data-feed service with no direct end users (see the Aquaduct Cascade Notice). It is not a consumer-facing website and does not set consumer cookies.
5. How to Control Cookies
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Major browsers provide cookie controls under their Privacy settings:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and Security → Cookies and other site data
- Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Edge: Settings → Privacy, Search and Services → Cookies
6. Changes and Contact
We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in the technologies we use. Material changes are notified per the master Privacy Policy.
